InDApp is committed to ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability in all services delivered through the platform. This Refund and Cancellation Policy sets out the terms and conditions governing cancellations and refunds of payments made via InDApp in India. By availing services through InDApp, the user agrees to the provisions contained herein.
1. Applicability
This Policy applies to all payments made by users through InDApp for services offered by Central/State Government departments, agencies, statutory authorities, or any service provider integrated with InDApp.The Policy shall be read in conformity with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and government notifications issued from time to time.
2. Cancellation of Service Requests
A service request initiated through InDApp may be cancelled by the user within twenty-four (24) hours from the time of payment, provided that the concerned department/service provider expressly permits cancellation for that service. Cancellation requests must be submitted only through the prescribed mechanism available on InDApp. No cancellation shall be entertained after expiry of the 24-hour period or once the concerned department has started processing the service request, whichever is earlier. Where cancellation is not permitted as per service-specific rules, or where the request is made beyond the permissible period, the user shall not be entitled to claim a refund.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds shall be processed only in the following cases:
• Double Payment / Excess Payment: Where the user is charged more than once for the same transaction.
• Failed Transactions: Where payment is deducted but the service request is not successfully registered/processed.
• Departmental Rejection: Where the concerned department cancels or rejects a service request and provides for refund as per applicable rules.
Note: No refund shall be made if the user provides incorrect or incomplete information leading to rejection of the service.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Payments once made shall not be refunded except as provided under Section 3. Payment gateway charges, or service charges (where applicable) are non-refundable. Refund is not applicable where the delay, error, or failure arises due to factors beyond the control of InDApp (including technical issues, network failure, or user error).
5. Refund Process and Timeline
Valid refund claims will be processed after due verification and confirmation from the concerned department/service provider. Refunds, once approved, shall ordinarily be credited to the original mode of payment within 7–15 working days, subject to banking and technical clearance. In exceptional cases, processing time may be longer, which shall be duly communicated to the user.
6. Limitation of Liability
InDApp acts only as a technology platform facilitating online service delivery and payment processing. The responsibility for approval/rejection of cancellation and refund requests rests with the concerned department/service provider. InDApp shall not be liable for any claim, loss, or damage beyond the actual refund of the amount in accordance with this Policy.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in relation to this Policy shall fall under the jurisdiction of competent courts/tribunals located at New Delhi, unless otherwise specified under applicable law.
